September 23rd, 2026 - Arches National Park Tour, With Moonrise
We’ll explore multiple sites throughout Arches National Park and we’ll finish by capturing a beautiful moonscape as the moon rises! I’ll pick you up at 2:45pm and we’ll head to the park for an unforgettable time at all the best sites before setting up for moon shots. Along the way I’ll provide as much professional and personalized instruction and tips as you’d like to take your photography to the next level.
I’ll have an optimal itinerary ready to go for us, however, I’m happy to customize our plans to ensure we make it to any specific sites, etc. No extra charge for any custom planning, so feel free to send me a message from my contact page, or you can email me at zachcooley@gmail.com or call at (480) 577-0703 with any requests.
Duration: Approximately 5 hours, with pickup at 2:45PM.
What’s Included:
•Transportation for the duration of the trip. I’ll pick you up from your Spanish Valley AirBnb.
•Photography instruction and guidance in the field, including (if desired):
-Planning apps and how to use them to find and plan moon photos with precision.
-Choosing the best camera settings based on lighting and other conditions to get the best exposure possible.
-I’ll answer any questions you have along the way.
What to bring:
•Tripod
•Camera with wide angle lens for landscape shots
•Recommended lens 300mm or greater for moon photos
•Remote shutter not required but is a bonus
Refunds & Cancellations:
Cancellations made at least 2 days (48 hours) in advance of the Moon Mission will receive a full refund, minus a 7% processing fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the trip will receive a 50% refund, minus a 7% processing fee.
Fortunately, we have clear skies most of the time in Moab, however in the case of a crazy storm, the trip could be canceled, in which case a full refund would be given. If we arrive at the scene and the moon is not visible due to clouds, you will have 2 options:
Option 1) You can join any future moon missions at no additional cost until the moon is visible.
Option 2) You can get a partial refund of 20% of the trip ($100)
I cannot be responsible for wind, weather, rain, heat, or other unforeseen circumstances. I reserve the right to change locations, cancel, or reschedule trips due to unsafe or extreme conditions.
