July 30th, 2025 - Arches National Park Trips With Sunrise, Sunset, and Milky Way
We’ll do a morning trip to capture a beautiful sunrise in Arches National Park, and then continue to explore additional sites throughout the park. You’ll then have much of the middle of the day to yourselves before we meet up again in the evening to go back into the park for sunset and then astrophotography! We’ll have an unforgettable time at all the best sites and along the way I’ll provide as much professional and personalized instruction and tips as you’d like to take your photography to the next level.

Itinerary - Wednesday, July 30th:
MORNING TRIP
5:15am - Meetup at Lion’s Park parking lot (https://maps.app.goo.gl/8dUkS8YiXsWdLZSi9)
We’ll go into the park and setup for sunrise, then continue exploring other sites in the park. We’ll be back at Lion’s Park around no later than 10:15am, but we could certainly make it earlier if needed.
10:15am -Latest we’ll be back to your vehicle in Lion’s Park.
EVENING\NIGHT TRIP
7:30pm - Meetup at Lion’s Park parking lot again, then head into the park and setup for sunset photos. After that we’ll visit a few more sites for some shots incorporating the moon, and then some Milky Way photography. We can end the trip whenever you’d like, but the latest we’d be back to Lion’s Park would be 12:30am.
12:30am - Latest we’ll be back to your vehicle in Lion’s Park.
What’s Included:
•Transportation for the duration of the trips. For both trips we’ll meet up in the parking lot for Lion’s Park, then I’ll drive us to Arches.
•Photography instruction and guidance in the field, including (if desired):
-Planning apps and how to use them to find and plan photos with precision.
-Choosing the best camera settings based on lighting and other conditions to get the best exposure possible.
-I’ll answer any questions you have along the way.
What to bring:
•Camera with at least a wide angle lens for landscape shots during the day
•Recommended lens for astrophotography has aperture of f2.8 or wider (lower value)
•Tripod
•Light for walking around, headlamp preferable. I have extras if needed.
•Water and snacks
Refunds & Cancellations:
Cancellations made at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance of the tour will receive a full refund, minus a 7% processing fee. Cancellations made within 3 days of the trip will receive a 50% refund, minus a 7% processing fee. I cannot be responsible for wind, weather, rain, heat, or other unforeseen circumstances. I do not usually cancel trips due to weather as stormy weather produces unique and dramatic photos. However, it is possible that locations are changed, or a trip is rescheduled or canceled due to unsafe or extreme conditions, in which case a full refund, minus a 7% processing fee, will be given.
