We’ll explore some of the best sites for astrophotography in Arches National park! We’ll meet at the KOA at 9:00pm and then head to the park for an unforgettable time capturing the Milky Way. Along the way I’ll provide as much personalized instruction and tips as everyone would like to take their photography to the next level.

I’ll have an optimal itinerary ready to go for us, however, I’m happy to customize our plans to ensure we make it to any specific sites, etc. No extra charge for any custom planning, so feel free to email me with any requests.

Duration: 4-5 hours, with pickup at 9:00PM, returning between 1-2 AM

What’s Included:
•Transportation for up to 4 for the duration of the trip. I’ll meet you guys at the KOA, or we can arrange for meetup\pickup spot in town if that works better.
•Photography instruction and guidance in the field, including (if desired):
-Planning apps and how to use them to find and plan photos with precision.
-Choosing the best camera settings based on lighting and other conditions to get the best exposure possible.
-I’ll be sharing knowledge and tips about getting the most out of a Milky Way shoot, and will be able to answer any questions you have along the way.

What to bring:
•Camera with wide angle lens
•Recommended lens for astrophotography has aperture of f2.8 or wider (lower value)
•Tripod
•Light for walking around, headlamp preferable. I have an extra if needed.
•Water and snacks
